Allen Genkin was born in Brooklyn, NY, realized his passion for Ballroom Latin Dancing and entertaining at the age of 11. Since then Allen has competed in many Nation/World wide renowned completions. He was a west coast regional champion in the youth division at age 16 and 17 and was also a national finalist. Ranked in the top 10 of the U.S., he then went on to compete at Worlds in Blackpool, England which is the biggest competition in the Ballroom Dancing world. Since then Allen has made Television appearances on ABC's Dancing With The Stars winning the very first season of Ballroom Battle, fox’s so you think you can dance and became a pro on Spanish dancing with the stars, Mira Quinn bailiar on Univision. And recently choreographed and danced for televisa juego de voces. Allen has taught at many dance conventions all over the USA and Mexico. Allen has also choreographed for many singers and celebrities throughout the Latin community. He loves sharing his passion and love with dancers all over the world.
